David Brown tractors are relatively few, as compared to other tractor manufacturers like Ford, New Holland, John Deere and others. Aftermarket tractor parts are available for 1200, 1210, 1212, 1410, 1412, 755, 780, 880, 885, 885N, 950, 990, 995 and 996.
The model 25 and 950 were manufactured in 1950’s, models 850, 880, 990, 770, 780, 1200 and 3800 in the 1960’s, while the 1970’s produced the 885, 995, 1210, and the 1212. Other models produced were the 895, 1390 and the 1490. Typically, all the David Brown tractors engines are between 9 hp to 99 hp. The most popular David Brown tractor engines are the AD3/49A, AD3/55, AD3/55A, AD4/47, AD4/49, AD4/55, and the turbocharged late engines, AD4/55T, and the 6 cylinder engine AD6/55 and turbocharged AD6/55T. David Brown Tractor parts are provided for both the 2 wheel drive and the 4 wheel drive tractors. These machines comes with manual steering for the early machines, and later power steering for the 770, 780, 880, 885, 950 and the 1200. Hydrostatic steering was introduced on later models.
